Working Procedure     

The Department has Survey offices in each of the 75 districts of the country, with some districts having more than one such office. Service to the public, in the from of facilitating land transfers and registrations, land measurements, updating and safekeeping of land records and cadastral plans etc. are the main jobs of these offices.
